Basically sala mae nam thai or ศาลาแม่น้ำไทย is restaurant of anataea hotel They served buffet breakfast with other meals on ala carte menu Great scenery from top Overlooking Golden triangle.

The view is wonderful. It is completely different from the old scary Golden Triangle. Now it is becoming a luxury resort. The food is great. A very good Thai restaurant. Honestly surprised. Really wonderful as a resort.

Lovely restaurant inside the Anantara hotel with a beautiful view. Food was excellent, with the Tom yum goong being the highlight. Service was amazing too, would recommend!

Beautiful food, 5 star service, views of the elephants wandering freely below. For the price of the food (less than I’ve ever paid for a meal in New Zealand), this is just amazing.

Prices are what you would expect from a hotel restaurant but for that you get 5 star service, excellent food and an amazing view. We could even watch an elephant walk past.

Elephants graze beside the nam ruak river - while diners are pleasantly distracted by this scene that might be from a wild safari movie. Not for long though. What's on the plate lures this diner to taste what has been artfully presented before him. Be adventurous - try the North Thai cuisine: Gang Ho, Kao Soi and especially the Northern Thai Lanna Dips - a beaut blend of traditional local tastes served with steamed vegetables, egg and freshly harvested bambòo shoots - yum - or as the locals say "lum teh teh" (delicious). Service is pleasantly divine - an overall experience sure to boomerang you back for more. :)x
